Have you struggled with weight loss your entire life?  Tried every quick weight loss plan out there?  I was in your shoes for a long while. I have researched many diet plans and have tried them all from Atkins, to South Beach to other gimmick "easy diet plans". As a result, I know a little about the topic at hand. You see, I have what the experts call a little bit of a weight problem…  I have gained, then lost and then gained it back more times than I want to admit.

And who doesn't love food?  I know I do.  And I hate looking at myself right before the holidays and realizing that the only way to get down to the size I need to be is to starve myself with some new fast weight loss plan. When I was searching for the right diet for me I hated encountering all of these plans with outrageous claims and even more outrageous before and after photos from their testimonials. Let's be real! When it took me 45 days to lose 10 pounds I knew there wasn't much stock to be put into their "30 pounds in 30 days" claims. The problem I encountered with many plans and products I tried is that - while they worked - they were not long term solutions. I needed a solution that not only would help me lose the weight quick, but keep it off and show me foods I can eat that are good for me and that I enjoyed enough and filled me enough so I was not craving that 3pm donut!

There are so many diet programs, e-books, DVD's and websites out there that claim to have the best solution and program. I have found that the best diet program is no diet at all, but a lifestyle change to follow everyday of your life. Any kind of diet that you adhere to now will likely backfire the moment you get off it, such as the Atkins diet.

This is why I've decided to follow programs that promote a healthy overall lifestyle rather than a simple diet.
