Lose Ten Pounds Fast
Chop off your head! Right? No… Wait, you need that. Okay then, think… Think… What could you do to lose ten pounds fast? There are actually ways to kick-start your body into rapid weight loss that do not require you to starve yourself, deprive yourself in any way, or resort to cutting bits off. You will have to adjust a few things about the way you eat and the amount of physical activity you get, but you will definitely be able to supercharge your fat burning metabolism. So, here we go!
Carbs. You need them, but only in the morning, and you can ditch those sugary soft drinks along with the salty snacks. You want whole grain breads and cereals, brown rice, and fruit. Adding hot peppers and a little bit of cinnamon to your food will also help you burn fat. Carbohydrates will help to get you going after being without food all night long (you got plenty of sleep last night, right?)
Carbs will also help you produce insulin, which will help you put on muscle mass through brief-but-intense weight training sessions. Body-weight exercises are effective as long as they are intense enough to take you just out of your comfort zone, but you don’t want to do it for more than 15 minutes tops.
Throughout the day you will want to eat several small meals, going no more than a couple of hours in between. From the afternoon through the evening you will want to limit your carbs and get some protein from lean meats, combined with lots of high-fiber veggies. And at some point, it would be a good idea to go for a brisk walk—about 45 minutes should do.
Protein is going to help build your muscles and help to release growth hormone as you sleep. You need to get plenty of sleep to give your body a chance to let these hormones work in your system. If you keep this up, you will be able to lose ten pounds of fat in the course of a little over a week.
This is not a diet, but a system that you can use to stay healthy and lean for the rest of your life.
