These days many of us are always on the go; we rush everywhere because time can be of such short supply. A lot of people have been brought up to eat fast because of the fact that their parents were always in a rush and there are others who have just got into the habit themselves due to time constraints. We stuff food into our mouths and keep on shovelling until we feel full. Is it any wonder that so many of us are overweight these days. And when you eat fast, you do not chew the food properly so it is difficult for the body to digest what you have eaten.
You can give your brain a chance to realise that the body has had enough food by eating slower. You will also probably get more enjoyment from your meals when you eat slowly. It might be really worthwhile to take a bit of extra time to enjoy your meal as you will be also getting other advantages. For those overweight people who feel that they are too big to exercise, this is something you can do to help you lose weight which will not require any effort at all.
